A Movement for an Inclusive Nation
Boston For All is an activist group that runs a series of community events as fundraisers in support of immigration justice, food insecurity, and abortion access.
100% of all money raised goes straight to the nonprofit organizations we support: The Brigid Alliance, La Colaborativa, Community Servings, The Boston Immigration Justice Accompaniment Network (BIJAN), The Brazilian Women’s Group, Redes en Acción Venezuela, The Association of Haitian Women in Boston, the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA), and other organizations doing the important on-the-ground work in our local community.
Boston For All is comprised entirely of friends and neighbors concerned about the direction of our country. We came together after digesting the results of the 2016 presidential election seeking to find some way to answer the question, “What can I do to help my nation be what I believe it should be?”
With that fundamental question in mind, we decided that we would work for inclusion of all people in our local community by raising money for worthy causes. It is our mission to make giving fun and simple – just show up at one of our events, enjoy some great times with others in your community, and open yourself up to possibility and inspiration. We do not keep any money that we raise during our events. Thanks to our wonderful sponsors and volunteers, we have very minimal expenses to cover. After that, it’s all profits directly to the good people preserving the dignity of our nation through their hard work!
Examples of Our Events
ART FOR ALL
Members of the Jamaica Plain Artists Association sell original art and donate 100% of proceeds to our beneficiary organization for each event.
RUN FOR ALL
A free and open community gathering to raise money for various causes. Free refreshments, and a 1 mile walk/run around either Jamaica Pond or Franklin Park.
Dining for a Difference
Restaurant week around JP with local restaurants donating proceeds to a fantastic organization doing great work: Kids in Need of Defense (KIND).
INSIDE VOICES
During the pandemic, we conducted a series of virtual events (via Zoom) to continue to provide direct support to organizations doing important social justice work in our community.
